Over mij

After Jet graduated from the School of Professional Photography at Apeldoorn she started her career as an independent photographer. She also did a Masters in Tropical Forestry. Her work as a photojournalist and street photographer focuses on areas affected by sociopolitical tensions. She usually works on self-initiated projects, such as the former coal mining area of Liege - Belgium (2000-2008), the antiglobalist movement (2000-2004) and the Turkish Spring in Istanbul (2013). She is available for assignments in the Netherlands and abroad. Her work is frequently published in national and international media.

She was affiliated to Photo Agency Hollandse Hoogte for 15 years before joining De Beeldunie.
