The Adventurous Climb at St. John's Cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch. A climb via scaffolding over the roof of Sint-Jan to the 50 meter high Vieringtoren. This summer it is possible to climb the scaffolding on the south side and around the dome of the cathedral. A wonderful experience to see the many sculptures up close. The Sint-Jan National Monument Foundation has organized this climb in good cooperation with the church board. The proceeds will be used to restore the slates on the roof of Sint-Jan. A walk between mythical creatures and buffoons on the roof of St. John's Cathedral. This Gothic church was built between 1370 and 1529 and reflects the fortunes of the city over the centuries. This climb offers an unique opportunity because the installation of such a scaffolding and walking construction will not be possible for another 100 years.
