Iraqi children play war games in Al-Qayyarah, they pose as warriors in front of the camera. Al-Qayyarah's oil wells were set on fire by the Islamic state of Iraq and the fighters of the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS or IS) to obscure the view of the US-led coalition forces in the fight for the recovery of the city of Mosul in northern Iraq. The Iraqi army has recaptured the city on the Tigris riveir, but the oilfields are still burning and spreading toxic, thick, black clouds of smoke across the city.
