Nayib Bukele, considered a Millennial, has won the presidential seat of the Central American nation of El Salvador. He is the youngest president in Latin America at the age of 37, Mr. Bukele is a Salvadoran businessman who got into politics at a young age, since his involvement in politics he has been a savvy user of the social networks and during his presidency this approach was a key-element in becoming the 46th and current President of El Salvador. He founded a new political party called Nuevas Ideas and made a coalition with the right wing party GANA. Winning the presidential seat brought an end to the post-war political scene in El Salvador where the two major political parties, left wing FMLN and right wing ARENA would always occupy the presidency, making it a turning point in Salvadoran history.
