Honduran Migrants Face New Challenges32

Honduran migrants trying to reach the southwestern border of the United States, begun a new journey to seek refuge in the USA. The migrants are now facing a new challenge, the strong presence of police and military personnel in Guatemala as well as the Mexico/Guatemala border, they are also experiencing harassment by their own country’s authorities. The border protection has moved further south making Guatemala a country where Honduran migrants need to hide or else they will be deported back to their homeland.
