he vibrant city of Jazz and Mardi Gras was lifeless, soulless, cleaning and reconstruction is in progress but many communities are severely damaged and the city still is 40% under water weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit land. Its residents were evacuated very few stayed, many left behind their city in ruins and other never to return.
