Afghan migrants are warming themselves around a fire on the Jaurès camp in Paris.

On February 5, 2018, the prefecture of the Île-de-France region set off the cold weather plan to protect the most vulnerable people in the cold snap. The tents of the Jaurès camp, which have been inhabited for 200 months by mainly Afghan and Pakistani migrants, are covered with snow. In recent times men were near the fire to warm up at night and each time the police came to extinguish it, but with the wave of cold the fire was lit earlier today along the Canal Saint-Martin.

Ces derniers temps les hommes se retrouvaient près du feu pour se rãhauffer la nuit et chaque fois la police venait l'ôeindre, mais avec la vague de froid le feu a ôàallumàplus tot aujourd'hui le long du canal Saint-Martin.

Eerder brandde er 's nachts vuur om op te warmen en elke keer kwam de politie om het te blussen, maar met de koude golf wordt het vuur eerder aangestoken.
