Central America - Nicaragua, capital city Managua: A student rebel who goes by the pseudonym of "El Che" poses for a portrait he spent the night resisting the repression during the attack on the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua - UNAN by the National Police and pro-Ortega paramilitaries in Managua. Student rebels had been occupying the university campus for more than two months and were target of constant attacks by pro-government groups and police. The students are protesting and showing civil disobedience in discontent with the current government and demand the ousting of president Daniel Ortega as well as vice-president and First Lady Rosario Murillo.
