HAITI, CROIX BESBOUQUETS, 24 JANUARI 2010
An orphan in the Ebenezer orphanage sits alone on a bench in the playgarden. His orange bracelet indicates that he is new in the orphanage. The Ebenezer Foundation Orphanage in Crois Besbouquets is ran by the Global Orphan Project. The Foundation has a total of 14 orphanages in the whole of Haiti. According to UNICEF, the many new haitian orphans run an increased risk to end up in the hands of child traffickers. Many of their parents died in a devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on the 12th of januari.
