Macau, China, December 2007The Venetian is a perfect copy of the city of Venice, Italy with canals and fresco's,build to accomodate chinese tourists and gamblers.The Island of Macua, a former Portuguese colony is known for its casino's and gambling, which is forbidden in mainland China. Called the Las Vegas of the East its turn over is bigger then that of the real Las Vegas, thousands of Chinese cross the border daily for a day of gambling. The Island lied in the South China Sea, opposite Hong Kong. The heritage of Portugal is visible in the old part of Macau, with a historical tour of 30 colourfull churches, squares and houses.
