LIBYA, LEPTIS MAGNA, 3 SEPTEMBER 2011
The ancient roman city of Leptis Magna, between Tripoli and Misurata. Leptis Magna is the best remained roman excavation in the whole of North Africa. The city, of which only 30 % has been excavated yet, received only about 160 vistors every day under the Qaddafi regime. It will definetely become one of the main tourist attractions of the new Libya.
