A rebel vehicle drives past burning loyalist forces tents, at the outskirts of Abu Salim, one of the neighbourhoods where Qaddafi loyalist resistance has lasted longest. As the rebel offensive gained steam, the population of Tripoli took up arms, resulting in the fall of Quaddafi's regime.
