Los Pinos, de voormalige presidentiele woning in Mexico Stad, is door de nieuwe president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO in de volksmond) veranderd in een cultureel centrum. AMLO besloot in zijn eigen huis te blijven wonen omdat hij Los Pinos als ambtswoning te duur en te pompeus vindt. Het terrein, de tuinen en de woningen zijn opgensteld voor publiek op 1 december 2018, de dag dat hij president werd. This was the decision of the new president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who is inaugurated on 1 of December 2018. He decided the buildings where to expensive to keep as a residence. AMLO stayed living in his own house in Mexcio City.
