Each year, the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer with its church knows the fervor of the pilgrimages of the Travelers with thousands of Roma, Manouches, Gypsies and Gypsies from all over Europe and beyond. They come to revere St. Sarah the Black, patroness of the gypsies.
