TUNISIA, RA'S AJDIR, 1 MARCH 2011
Tunisian-Libyan border crossing at Ra's Ajdir, near Ben Gardene; at nightfall, still hundreds of refugees, mostly egyptian workers, wait to be admitted into Tunisia, causing a huge chaos at the border. In the last couple of days about 70.000 refugees have crossed the tunisian border fleeing the hostilities in Libya. As a result a humanitarian crisis is looming in Tunisia.
