Yanis Varoufakis, ehemaliger Finanzminister von Griechenland und Wirtschaftswissenschaftler, auf dem Gruendungskongress von DiEM 25 ? Announcing the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 in der Volksbuehne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. Auf diesem Kongress wird die pan-europaeische Bewegung DiEM25 vorgestellt, die mit einem einfachen und radikalen Ziel antritt: Europa zu demokratisieren.
Yanis Varoufakis, Greek former Finance Minister and economist, during the confernce on the official launch of the Democracy in Europe Movement DiEM 25 at the Volksbuehne Theater in Berlin. Varoufakis is co-founding the new political movement together with other left-leaning politicians and thinkers from across Europe. Veroufakis said he sees Europe in danger of disintegration due to a rise in nationalism among some states and said he seeks to create a new Europe based on grass roots democracy and transparency
