Central Asia - Afghanistan, capital city Kabul: Female Shia Muslims kiss a shrine with he red, green and black flags at a mosque as part of the Ashura celebrations in the Dasht-e-Barchi, a predominantly Hazara Shia Muslim neighborhood in western Kabul. The past few days the community has been targeted with bomb attacks in the past days causing more than 100 deaths and even though this important Shia holiday was cancelled by the Taliban a few days ago.
